The Mississippi Turfgrass Association was incorporated back in the 1950s to recognize all those associated with the Green Industry. Beginning with just a handful of members, it now has 300+ members–Sod Producers, Grounds/Lawn Maintenance, Sports Field Managers, Golf Courses, Parks and Recreation Departments and Industrial Suppliers.

MTA provides its members with educational opportunities, networking opportunities, industry communications (Turf Field Days, Tradeshows) a quarterly news magazine that is full of the latest information on Turfgrass management, association news and events, and a Turf Expo partnered with our neighbor associations—Alabama, Louisiana and the western panhandle of Florida. The Deep South Turf Expo provides an Industry Tradeshow featuring equipment and suppliers of the turf industry and educational sessions for warm-season turf managers.

We also find time to have fun with golf tournaments, hospitality nights, and just “good ‘o” fellowship! Again, WELCOME! Thank you for your interest and we hope you consider becoming a member.
